When designing machines and equipment, many details need to be considered. Sometimes the control panel has to resist particularly rough environmental conditions, while spatial conditions are often highly constrained. Developers always face the challenge, however, to design the optimum product for its users. EBE rotary encoders can be adapted to a great variety of requirements to detent mechanisms and angles, allow for particularly small installation spaces and are flexible in terms of axis length and diameter. Thus, the rotary encoders BGE 16 and CESI 20 convince by their extremely compact design with diameters of only appr. 16 mm resp. 20 mm. They are particularly appreciated in use with compact, mobile devices such as defibrillators, tachymeters or theodolites. The innovative double rotary encoder is also applied in narrow spatial conditions. Due to the use of two separate rotary encoders on one axis, a lot of installation space can be saved, e.g. on mixing consoles.
